Four MRT stations on three lines lie within about 900 metres of One Marina Gardens, and one of them is next door. This guide sets out where each station goes, how the precinct will be joined underground and how the roads serve the site.
Marina South Station and One Marina Gardens
Marina South station (TE21) on the Thomson-East Coast Line stands beside the site, about 125 metres from the pin to the station point on OneMap. The developer’s factsheet describes addition and alteration works to the station’s Entrance 4 on Marina Gardens Lane as part of the development, and its site plan marks the station entrance on the first storey.
The station was built with the line but has stayed closed while the precinct around it is empty. The Minister for Transport said in January 2022 that Marina South station would open in tandem with the completion of the homes in the area, and the developer’s factsheet expects the connection to operate once the homes are completed.
Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay and Marina South Pier near One Marina Gardens
Gardens by the Bay station (TE22), one stop east, is about 590 metres from the site and is open today; from it the Thomson-East Coast Line runs along the east coast through Tanjong Rhu, Katong Park and Marine Parade, a stretch the Land Transport Authority opened on 23 June 2024. One stop west, Marina Bay station, about 860 metres away, is an interchange with the North-South and Circle Lines, and the Thomson-East Coast Line continues from it through Shenton Way and Outram Park to Orchard and Woodlands. Marina South Pier station (NS28), the southern end of the North-South Line, is about 460 metres from the site.

The Underground Pedestrian Network at One Marina Gardens
The Urban Redevelopment Authority plans Marina South as a car-lite precinct with an underground pedestrian network connecting its two Thomson-East Coast Line stations, Gardens by the Bay and Marina South. The developer’s factsheet adds that the site is the only parcel of the precinct directly connected to Marina South station.
Roads, Buses and Parking at One Marina Gardens
Marina Boulevard runs along one side of the site and Marina Gardens Lane along the other, and the Marina Coastal Expressway passes the southern edge of the precinct towards the East Coast Parkway and the Ayer Rajah Expressway. The developer’s site plan places a public bus shelter and a taxi stand beside the development. Below ground, One Marina Gardens has 445 car park lots, with nine lots offering active and 58 passive provision for electric-vehicle charging, plus 24 motorcycle lots. The location page maps the stations.
